  1. I am trying to encode avi to mpeg 1 format to be burnt on a VCD. Avi plays fine on Windows media and DIVX player. But when I encode it using TMPGenc, the sound disappears. I dont see any sound in TMPGenc when I am in the source range window. I have Nimo installed. I tried playing the encoded Mpg, there is no sound in it.
    Your help is appreciated.
    Thx

or you could start tmpgenc and click OPTIONS, ENVIROMENTAL SETTINGS, VFAPI PLUGIN TAB and make direct show multimedia reader a higher priority. i have mine set at 1 and this sees all divx and avi sound.
