I am trying to encode avi to mpeg 1 format to be burnt on a VCD. Avi plays fine on Windows media and DIVX player. But when I encode it using TMPGenc, the sound disappears. I dont see any sound in TMPGenc when I am in the source range window. I have Nimo installed. I tried playing the encoded Mpg, there is no sound in it.
Your help is appreciated.
Thx![]()

or you could start tmpgenc and click OPTIONS, ENVIROMENTAL SETTINGS, VFAPI PLUGIN TAB and make direct show multimedia reader a higher priority. i have mine set at 1 and this sees all divx and avi sound.
