I am trying to convert some video tape to VCD (home videos, this is not a macrovision problem). Any colors close to white are shifted to white causing the picture to become washed out. Adjusting the hue, saturation, etc does not help. I adjusted the gain with an inline stabilizer box (old POS borrowed from my father) which did correct the color problem, unfortunately it also causes the picture to roll whenever the scene changes and buzz in some scenes. Does anyone know of a decent inline gain control which will not destabilize the picture or a way to adjust the whitebalance on my video card, currently I do not have that option. My card it a MSI Geforce 4 4400-VTD (video in and out), I have used both VirtualDub and WinProducer (card shipped with WinProducer),
