  1. i ve tried everything in the how to section to make a vcd and it nothing works. i have a sony s500d player and ive tried cdr and fujifilm cdrw is there anything else can somebody please help me all i want really is something that will work in my dvd it doesnt have to be a vcd neccissarily.
    i have been tring to convert movies that i have been downloading. ive tried everything in th how to for vcds. is there something i have to do besides converting and burning?
    ive also tried everything in the repair section i dont know what to do please someone help me i would appreciate it a lot thanx

  4. I don't exactly understand your problem. Are you having trouble creating VCDs in general? Or VCDs that are compilable with your DVD player?

    Incase you're having problem with compabilitty, you're welcome to check the DVD player compabilitty section, and see what type of CDs and formats your player supports:

    Incase you're having problems with creating VCDs in general, than I would sugest to start with something simple like Adaptec/Roxio Easy CD Creator. It has a very nice and easy to use VCD creator... Check it out.

    and im burning with nero 5 not 5.5 and i have a sonys 500d but it doesnt work i dodnt know

  6. Right, I had a similar experience. First the original downloaded files have to be converted using TEMPGEN. Load the "VCD ntsc" template. The conversion may take hours to complete. THEN use a burning program (EZ CD or Nero, e.g.), instructing the software to make a video CD. When you load your source file into the burning software it should tell you if it is a valid video cd source file. Lastly, try a friend's DVD player if this does not help.
