  1. I downloaded a move clip, and I can not get the sound working in Media Player the video plays perfectly, but no sound... I loaded the file into Virtualdub to get the avi information:

    Virtual Dub File info:

    Video
    Decompressor XVID MPEG-4 Codec

    Audio Stream
    Sampling Rate: 48000hz
    channels: 2 (Stereo)
    Compression: Unknown (tag 2000)
    Preload Skew: 1200 samples (0.25)
    # frames 90019

I have got XVID installed....any ideas?

  2. You are missing an audio codec. Try installing the Nimo codec pack.

  4. Hmmm, I have heard that G-spot from www.doom9.org can do this, certainly for video, may work for audio. Give it a try.
