Best prog to author a dvd from a 4.2GB mpg2 file

Hi! I'm only a beginner in the dvd world.

Aflter backing up my dvd with Smartripper, I used dvd2avi and tmpgenc to create one big dvd mpg2file.\
I'd like suggestions on the easiest prog to author a dvd with my 4.2GB file.


Do I have to split it into several 1GB parts then demux those parts or is there a prog that will do all that for me?
I would like something that will create the video_ts directory ready to burn. For this movie I don't want chapter or anything, just the authored mpg files.

Any DVd authoring proggy you can lay your hands on will do the job, it really depends on how much you want in the way of chapters and/or menus. I would suggest you take a look at SpruceUp or MyDVD for simple solutions, ULEAD DVD workshop or Dazzle DVD complete for intermediate level authoring and Maestro for full proffessional level authoring. There are plenty of others also, just read some guides here and maybe the ones at doom9.org also.
