  1. ok i get a movie in avi format... real good quality about 700 megs, i want to burn my VCD now, and i got the following programs MPEG mediator, avi2mpg2, virualDub, TMPGEnc, and AviChop. i burned a few VCD's already but now i'm stuck, what tools can i get rid of, how would i accoplish to make my VCD, and what tools would i need to use (don't really need to explain how to use the tools, just need to know what tools i need to use)

    any help is appreciated!

    Use TMPGenc to encode to MPEG1, you may also need to use VirtualDub to deal with certain video and/or audio codecs before encoding.
