I just purchased a new Dell PC. It came w/ a 64MB DDR NVIDIA GeForce4™ Ti 4200 Graphics Card with TV Out and DVI. The PC did not come with any Firewire ports
My question is, can I just buy a basic Firewire PCI card, or do I need to consider a more expensive "capture" card?
I will be capturing DV from my Sony video camera and burning to DVD.
I guess I am just confused about the difference between a video card and a capture card.
Thanks for any help.
