  1. When converting from my AVI 320x240 to VCD 352x240 my video quality goes from good to poor. What I want to know is, is there a way to make my quality stay the same. I am using TMPGEnc. Someone told me it should be 640x480 for good quality but i cant get my AVI any higher resolution without losing Quality. Please Help

What if you use VirtualDub's resize filter and frame serve to TMPGEnc? I've no idea if it helps in your case, but worth a try. With a decent processor, it will have little if any impact on your encoding time.

...and remember - There's NO way to make the "quality stay the same" since MPEG is a lossy encoding method. You can ether go for SVCD (MPEG2) or XVCD by raising resolution and bitrate to achieve best possible results.
