  3. adding subtitles isn't hard, just use virtual dub with the subtitler plugin. you have to use sub station alpha(.ssa) files for the subtitles though.

    I've racked my brains for several days trying to get the subs to work. I finally "read" the instructions and now it's a piece of cake. I'm going through my stack of Chinese movies and putting the subs on them.

  7. DmrwizkidZ, for your info, do check VobSub and its textsub plugin for VirtualDub.
    It allows for more formats (like sub or srt) to be directly fed onto a video, rather than having to convert to ssa as was the case with Donald Graft's excellent filter.
