Summary:

Former Samsung employees (mostly researchers) started a new company dedicated to CD/DVD media business called Beall Deveopers.

Beall DVD-R media has been on the market for long and now the company also plans to expand DVD+R media production in November.

Beall plans to produce one million DVD-R/+R media disks each month.

There are SKC, Taiyo Yuden's South Korean branch and factories, and a few others (still alive?) in South Korea.

Beall claims to have developed (???) DVD+R media fourth in the world after Ricoh, Mitsuibishi, and Ritek. What about Sony, Philips, CMC, Prodisc, and many many others? I don't know.
