  1. Don't laugh at me, OK, I know this is stupid question, but i do need an answer. Please help if you can.

    I am trying to use Truman's guide to editing using avisynth to make a fully animated menu. I do not understand one line in it. Can someone explain to me all the bolded arguments?

    vid=StackVertical(part1,part2,part3,part4,part5,pa rt6,part7)
    chap1in=Trim(vid,0,999).Animate(700,900,"BicubicRe size",480,576,0,0.5,0,0,480,576,480,576,0,0.5,48,48,96,1 08)
    chap1out=Trim(vid,1000,1499).Animate(100,300,"Bicu bicResize",480,576,0,0.5,48,48,96,108,480,576,0,0.5,0,0,480,5 76)

  2. An other question regarding the same project:

    my trim function doesn't work properly.
    I use avisynth to frame serve Virtualdub. the Trim(clip, starting-frame, end-frame) start at where it is suposed to, but stopps beyond the end-frame (untill the clip is finished.

    Help me please.

  3. It may work for a specific version of Avisynth. I don't know which one it is.
    I have tested most of scripts in Truman's guide. Unfortunately, most of them didn't work under Avisynth I have (Several versions). Maybe Truman can give us a clarification.

    I am sorry to read that. I have tested all scripts with YUY2 sources (either MPEG-2 or huffyuv) successfully before I had posted the scripts.
    I used Avisynth 1.0 beta6, that is a stable version but now it is somewhat outdated. The latest version is 2.06, all my tests run stable so far.
    BTW, this is a double post, I think we have found a solution already. That's why I close this topic. Continue here.
