need help with TMPGEnc

looking for help with " TMPGEnc " I am to convert AVI or DIVx files to MPEG so i can burn them to VCD, but i keep get this error at about 27% completed
" write error occurred at address 77f53812 of module 'ntdll.dll' with 00000001."
I have plenty of room on the hard drive that these files are being encoded to, also the temp file is on a drive with 18gig of free space. There are no open programs running, i have tried to do this 3 times now, with no luck it takes about 2 hours to reach 27% if anyone can give me a few pointers on this progam or what this error means would be very helpfull.
OS is win XP pro
pIII 800 with 512 k of ram
I have read some of the newbie guids and made a couple of adjustments most with the souce type of file as i am trying to convert a file that is 640x272 at 23.976 fps

u have corrupted frames in that file
u need to fix the frames or delete them
