  1. I installed NimoPack8 and my videos played upside down (as described in detail in the NEWBIE FORUM--Posted 10/20)..
Anyway when I uninstalled NIMO, I lost alot of codecs, NIMO uninstalled what seemed like everything..

    I re-downloaded Divx 5.02.
My Elecard Mpeg2 player also seems to be working okay, but not opening all my MPEG2 Encoded Files.

My question is what are the ESSENTIAL CODECs needed to Encode/Simple Edit/Play (S)VCD's.

    I don't rip dvd's (Dont own a dvd-rom).
I convert downloaded movies from all types of media types and dowload already encoded movies.

I also preview the (s)vcd's before burning on WMP or Elecard.

I dont remember what codecs I had previously installed, Many Done a long time ago..

Also is there a codec that allows me to open an already encoded (s)VCD in TMPGENC??

  2. I should also note, because it wasnt that clear after I read my post, that the movies I download (whatever format), I BURN using Nero, to (s)vcd, to play on my stadalone Unit..
So any codecs that may be essential to the burning portion I would also like to know..

And If anyone know why the NIMOPAC caused my Mpegs to play Upside Down in both my media players, I'd love to know.

I did 2 installs, One with the bicubic resizer, then when they were upside down, I uninstalled, and did 2nd without the Resizer, bith times I did the full install (Versus the Basic), besides unclicking the resizer, and not installing the codecs they said had a compatibilaty problem at the start of the install.

I would love just install the full Nimo Pack and have everything..
