Okay.. here's a good one. I want your opinion on this. I have two Lion King LDs, first one with regular audio and the other with commentary. The first one spans just one disc (CLV) and the other two discs (CAV). Both have digital info on one channel. What is the best way to get both channels on one disc without rerendering the who video? My Philips DVD711 is kararoke compatible(That means that I can have one channel on both speakers).

  3. what do you want to make? an svcd? if so I would capture the audio for each track using something like total recorder (or your sound recorder of choice. Then I would convert the wav to mp2 with toolame or tmpg and multiplex it together with bbmpeg putting the commentary as audio2.

  6. If your machine can send a single audio Channel (meaning left or right) to both speakers, you can probably do it. What you would need to do what haubrija said and rip each channel seperately. You would then have to take both channels and create a Stereo stream in some sort of audio mixing program. You should then be able to use this one file with your video stream and make a VCD.
You will have the draw back of not having stereo sound, and if any body tries to play it on a non-kararoke player they may have some really screwed up sound. It would also take alot more time then I would personally want to invest to do such a thing (I would just make 2 different VCDs).
