    I start with a .avi File and want to make it a Mpeg using TMPGEnc. Everything goes smooth while it is doing the proccess. I get no errors. When it is all done and I try to view the new file, There is only audio. The file is still like 400Megs. But no video. I followd the instruction to a tee. Mabey thats the problem? If this helps, when I go to the cutting pallette that is included with TMPG I dont get any picture there either. If anyone can help it would be very much apreciated.

    there IS video in your file, you're just missing the codec to see it...

    get the Nimo Codec pack you'll find under the TOOLS section of this site
