Trying to extract audio (to wav) from avi using VirtualDub 1.4.10, but am getting the following message...

Audio samples 12724259-12730367 could not be read in the source. The file may be corrupted.

Does anybody know of a way of either repairing or ignoring the offending samples?

    Thanks.....Sly

  2. Try scanning the video stream for errors first, may be that those frames are corrupt.

Do a scan, if vdub reports bad frames, save the file under a new name (direct stream copy) and the bad frames will be left out.
