  1. I recently converted a movie which had an AC3 audio into one using uncompressed wav. The resulting file plays OK with VirtualDub but when I use Windows Media Player, there is a certain periodic static in the audio. I have all the divx codecs plus the NiMo codecs installed. How do I fix Media Player so that the movie can be played properly? Thanks.

  2. your computer may not have the resources to play a big ass wav file smoothly, or your harddrive is slow.. not to mention media play is a resource hog.. try using a different player (winamp) or convert the wav to mp3 and play it through winamp.
