    Does anyone know the best numerical settings (1, -1, etc...) for the VFAPI plug-in settings for TMPGEnc encoder, and also what order should they be in...I am having problems opening some AVI files...

    DirectShow Multimedia file reader
    AVI File Reader
    BMP/PPM/TGA/JPG File Reader
    Wave file reader
    TMPGEnc project file reader 2.56
    AVI VFW compatability reader

    Or if there is another area I am missing please let me know...

    I use the default settings and haven't had any problems with opening avis

    set direct show to positive 4 and try its the best fix ever!

    I have tried to install the Nimo pac but it gives me a cannot find file error, and I tried to move Direct Show to positive 4 but it sends me an error message and quits the prg...?!?! Any other tips...?
