  1. I have been reading alot of posts mentioning the NIMO Codec Pack, so I decided to download it just in case I may need some of them at some point.
I had already installed the latest DIVX, and MPEG2 codecs awhile ago (before I ever started burning VCD's) I used to just watch DIVX and(S)VCD on my puter, anyway....
I installed the nimo pack 8-- did a complete install without one of the audio codecs they say have a conflict.
I tried to view a svcd on my pc it was UPSIDE DOWN???
So I remember on the install they mentioned something about upside down video, so I unistalled and reinstalled and chose not to install the bicubic resizer.
    Same result upside down video.
    So I uninstalled again, rebooted..
My mpeg2 videos now played RIGHT SIDE UP, but I had No DIVX CODEC whatsoever,
So I tried to install the the NIMO lite pack..
I still cant play my DIVX..

    Please Help,

  2. SAME PROBLEM HERE NOW.

    I use MediaPlayer9 (beta)

I want mediaplayer to be the default player for ALL media files.

But after installing Nimo (and uninstall it) Media player will
not play alot of mpeg files now.

    Re-installing Mediaplayer9 does not help.

Nimo you need to stop releasing a pack that just creates
    alot of problems.

  4. Looks like nimo codec pack overwrites previously installed codecs, so when you uninstall nimo you dont have the old codecs because they where "erased" by nimo(thats why I didnt install it). Try installing nimo lite then install the old codecs (if you still have the old installers).
