Hi to all, I just converted a 50 meg ASF file to MPEG-1 for VCD and it took 15 hours on my Pent. III 800. I am thinking of partitioning my HD and using Linux for encoding and was wondering if the tools are available for Linux and if its worth the trouble.
Does anyone have any experiance with encoding on Linux???
