ripping stops

I am trying to rip Blade 2. i have used both smartripper and claddvd xp but both stop ripping at 43%. Is there any way around this?

Makes sure the disc isn't scratched, and that you having selected all the files you want to rip.

I checked your suggestions and it wasn't scratched. This sort of problem happens to me a lot with various dvds, not just this one . Could it be the encryption?? eg i ripped scorpion king and lord of the rings perfectly, but blade, ali and matrix all stopped approx 40% in.

This happen to me too sometimes... the error that Iam gettting was a lock file...sometimes when I run powerdvd to watch it first..it will unlock and authenticate properly and it will rip but sometimes it doesn't but the funny thing is I tried the the same dvd on another computer that I have with a dvdrom drive and it will rip with no problem...I don't know if Iam just missing a file driver or aspi...but that work for me..I do have the latest aspi from adaptec installed...try it on another computer and see if it will rip...
