Mainconcept Encoder / TMPGenc

It looks like TMPGenc makes a better quality VCD than Mainconcept Encoder 1.2. I tested this using their default VCD settings. Mainconcept seems to have more artifacts than TMPGenc. My source file is DV.

Has anyone tested this? What VCD settings to use for Mainconcept for best quality?

Any input is very much appreciated.

I get a better quality with tmpgenc also ..When I used the mainconcept encoder I got blue faces on the output vidio file.. Don't know why..

main concept is very good -- but some reports of problems with only DV input .. may have been fixed in version 1.2

By the way, how do you make a CVD template in Mainconcept Encoder?

I have the serial key for Tmpgenc plus

I'm not a saint myself, but please help to keep this site free of serialz, cracks, warez etc. Use some other medium to "share" stuff like above.
