no smooth playback.

i've just downloaded a avi file (705mb) but playback isn't smooth. Picture quality is ok and sound is ok to. Video and audio runs sync.
here some of the videospecs of the avi file : res.640*256 framespeed= 23.975 kb/s dataspeed=87.725 kb/s videocompression=divxmpeg4 V3

What can i do to get smooth playback of this divx file ?

this is not an hardware prob, cause all the other avi's i've have are good.

Sounds like a bad or corrupt encode. You might try fixing the corrupt frames (the Tools section has programs for this), but if it is to no avail, you need to download the file again. If it's still not working, bug the original encoder, he did a bad job.
