  1. I downloaded a .avi file and converted it to .mpg format on 2 cds using TMPGEnc. It worked, and I burned the cds. My Problem is that when I play it in my DVD player it will be ok but at some points in the movie the picture will slow down then speed up again to catch up to the sound (it seems like). At first I thought I picked the wrong FPS setting in TMPGEnc and that was not the case. Any Help?

  2. Hard to help without more info like the settings you used in TMPGEnc.

  4. Nah it is a GE DvD player. Not Sure on the model

    I used NTSC Film the first time (Video-CD NTSC Film (MPEG-1 352x240 23.976fps CBR 1150kbps, Layer-2 44100Hz 224kbps) ) and it skipped (I guess you could say).

Then I used just NTSC and it did not help any. Not sure what the problem is.

Now when I play the files on my Comp it is fine. No Probs.

  5. i have the ad-1100w, and i've found that it skips a lot playing ntscfilm, but plays regular ntsc fine. but since yours is still skipping even with that setting, i'd try buring the CD at a lower speed... personally, 8x was never a problem for me, but i've heard of people having to burn at 2x or 4x to get them to play right.
