    The movie that I am ripin is SOUTH PARK, and I have no clue how to tell if it is a NTSC or PAL, however while in SpruceUP I think when the first box poped up I selected PAL, but after the error poped up that I stated in my first post I went back to STAGE 1 AUTHOR and went to PREFRENCES and swithced it to ntsc, however when i went back to step three and clicked write again after making the change the same error poped up. If anyone can help please do so. thanks

    Use DVD2AVI it will tell you if it is pal or not no need to complete just start the encoding see then cancel no big deal

    u said u ripped south park.

    did u re-encode the movie if so what program did u use?
    or is it still in vob format?
