    hello!
    so, first i ripped the movie with smartripper, then i used dvd2avi , then tmpeg ecnoder. so, i read safey´s newbie guide.
    then i burnt the svcd with nero 5.5.6.9, but when i play it on dvd player, the sound is cropping out always for 1 sec.
    what can i do???????

    Your player may not be svcd compatible. Check in the list on this site:
    http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdplayers.php. However you can trick your player by the process on this posting:
    http://www.geocities.com/newestmoviesencode/dvdvcd
