broken audiofile

i got an avimovie and a mp3 (a german language audiofile),but when i try converting with tmpg,i get a "stream writing error" in the middle of the process(the mpeg created is about 1,7gb)
so i opened the audiofile with winamp and it shows me 330min length!!!!,
but if i try to open with wmp,the length is correct
(89 min-it´s a 2vcd rip)looks like the mp3 is broken
could anybody give me a tip,how to repair it?

You could try to extract the audio as a WAV using this:
http://www.vcdhelp.com/virtualdubaudio.htm
Then use the WAV as the audio source in TMPGE.

Oh....and by the way,your English is better than some of the English speaking people on these boards...lol.!! :P
