I have a particular VCD. What I want to do is basically rip the audio/video back out of that and re-edit it. Is that possible?

try extracting(copy/paste) the *.dat file to ur hd w/c is located in MPEGAV folder and convert it to *.mpg using VCDGear.. then burn to NERO..
i guess u dont want the extra movie stuff that goes with it? or for wutever i hope this helps...

Oh man, thank you so much! I had never even heard of VCDGear.
Actaully, what I'm doing is taking some episodes of old cartoons and I'm going to add some extras. I mostly want to add a menu.
