  1. I dont know what has happened to my system, but I was trying to rip some 25 minute shows off of a FIRST SEASON DVD. I would get the AC3 to AIFF, and the .M2V. I would combine those in QUICKTIME 6 PRO, by copying and ADDING, and save as self containe file. Then I would use MUTATOR to fix the length of the VIDEO. Then because when I tried to export to TOAST VIDEO CD, it would say NO VIDEO TRACK, I would go to QT MOVIE mjpegA at best setting, and that would then allow me to export to VCD. Well this worked great for the first episode, and the second., But I wasnt hapy with the AUDIO VIDEO sync with the 2nd, so I went back one step to re export the .mpg to VCD format, and this last step, now hangs with the THERMOMETER progress bar stuck at the end, and doesnt close, when I copy the file, that says it is 258 MB to another location so I dont loose it when I hit cancel, the file becomes 4 gigs.

Needless to say, I have no idea what is going on, but will scratch this 2nd episode try, and start over. Maybe even try the first episode again.

Lots of patience for this stuff. , as I remember from prefixous attempts.

Thanks, if you ever have seen it go from 258MB to 4 GIGs, must have something going on in the background, just before it finishes, that makes it 4 gigs or something.

  2. Re did everything, and I am getting the same results., where once I was able to convert a SELF CONTAINED .mv2 and aiff file (1.1gig) after being in Mutator to fix AV Sync,,,, and have it go to MOV then to MPG for VCD, now at the very last step, the 258 MB File, goes to 4 gig, and then STOPS ... I dont know if it was the 6.02 update to QUICKTIME that I just installed, but now it looks like I might have to try and install quicktime from the cd, Dont know if I can go backwards.. 6.02 to 6.0,m and then dont know if it will help this freezing of the thermometer, when it is almost finsihed..
