my dvd player is acting up and will play all kinds of cd-r media, but chops it up with macroblocks and that aggrivates me. before, i bought a 100 pack of memorex cds that had a blue bottom and it looked kinda blue and green, but it was mostly blue. anyways, im wondering, what other type of cdr's have this bottom color? i have bought 3 50 pack spindles and none of them work because they all have the cheap green dye. could someone help me? i have already spent over 60 dollars, and for that price i could have bought a new dvd player, and im really REALLY pissed. thanks.

my Sony DVP-NS300 only plays the cdrs with the blue dye. It likes the Memorex ones and I once bought a spindle of Fuji (they were bluish too) that played fine.

the problem is, i bought some memorex's (100) and they had the blue dye, then i bought some more (50) and it was green dye, so that ticks me off. do you know if all fuji's have the blue dye?
