This topic has been addressed in various forums and on the site itself and the problem of not Windows Media Player not being able to play VCD's nor Windows being able to copy the .DAT file seems to be related to the missing SCSI1HLP.VXD driver.
Does anyone know where one can get a copy of the driver? This does not seem to have been answered anywhere on this site that I can find.
I'm running Windows XP professional and have Roxio and Nero burning software installed.
All the best
Tim

Have you tried installing PowerDVD 4.0 or installing Nimo Codecs Package...for the driver I really don't know..I have Windows 98 and I can copy VCD's perfectly..I can rip out the file and convert it also...something might be wrong with your XP..Not sure...

Thanks for the reply. I'll give those suggestions a go and post with the results.
