  1. Good day.

    I've encoded a small peice of a movie twice using DivX codec with and without Deinterlace. There is no difference during playback. Both movies are identical in quality/size/ave bps. I used 23.976fps as an Output. The source is 25fps.

    Why is there no difference?

    I may be wrong but its my understanding that if you encoding @ 23.97(Film) it doesnt matter. The only time you'll see a video with interlacing probs is when its 29.97(NTSC).
