I have tired a few but the quality was bad. somehow I had to use their Codecs only. Which is the LeadTek WinTV 2000. Any ideas on how can I capture Raw Uncompressed AVI and then I can reencode it back in TMPGEnc or CCE as SVCD.. Help and recommendations on a good TV capture card I have a Hauppauge PVR 250.. it does well but somehow still blocky going to RMA it. I have a few 120gigs for capturing.

I'm using PCTV-PCI gen5. cost ~$60 in my place. PowerDirector for capturing and editing. Makes very good capture whether in AVI or in MPEG2.
I do capture at 720x480 CBR7000kbps MPEG2 and use TMPG to encode it to CVD/SVCD or VCD format. Very high quality result!
