Hi, dont know if you remember me.. I ask a question about which was the best capture card to buy. I first decided to get the ASUS 7700, i changed my mind later and went with your advice and got the ATI AIW Radeon. This card is great, i've only had it for a week and trying to get use to the software. Anyway, i'm having difficuty capturing anything above 352 X 288 res..using virtual dub, the svcd version. When i try to select custom format-480 X 576 it says unsupported format. Is there a way to over come this.
Which is the best solution to capture for making VCD and SVCD?.
In Data format in Virtual dub which is the best setting, for quality?, What does "YUV" mean?. Do you have a link where i can read about this sort of stuff.?
Thanks again for recommending me to buy the AIW.
I would appreciate it if you can help me one last time.

Hi VTEC9000,
As I recall I was trying to convince you to keep your existing gaming card and add a Dazzle DVC2 for hardware MPEG capture. Or as a second option, ATI AIW as the gaming/capture card, right? That was quite awhile ago.
I have the ATI AIW 128 Pro, and I haven't use it for capturing since I install the Dazzle. The ATI Radeon I'm not familiar with, but here is a guide on this site about the Radeon, please check it out.

Do some reading and if you still have question, I'm sure the guys here or myself will try and figure out the problem together with you.
