Converting video to play backwards

Does anybody know of any software which can reverse a video,
this may not be a normal request, but I want to recreate the effect
of the Tennents Pilsner advert where the actors do everything backwards
and then reverse it so that it looks like they are going forwards and
everybody is backwards. I have recently acquired a Betamax video
which plays videos backwards, but I don't really want to lose quality
in the conversion. Full frames, no compression is fine.

That's easy to do in Media Studio Pro 6.5 DC from Ulead.

I was hoping for a cost effective solution for a home user like me.
I can't really justify the full cost of this software for occasional use.
And it wouldn't download anyway!
I would rather cut and paste each frame!
Does anybody have a shareware solution?
I don't mind paying for shareware if it is good.
