  1. Hi all,
    I want to buy a new computer and need advice. I want to spend up to 900 dollars do you guys have any suggestions. Do you think that I should wait for a little bit and may be able to get a better deal somwhere, what do you recomend. Also I found this computer at best buy.com it is Matrix Vpr I dont really know much about it but it has"IntelŪ PentiumŪ 4 processor 2.4AGHz, 533MHz system bus, 512MB DDR SDRAM and 100.0GB hard drive, plus a multitalented DVD-RW/CD-RW drive" and all this for 900 dollars!?!? Any comments on that machine???

    I suggest that people find a LOCAL geek PC shop.

    In my aria $900 will get you.....

    2.4 GHz P4
    512 MB Ram
    2 60gig drives
    1 DVD-ROM
    1 CD-RW
    19" Monitor


    Includes gForce4 MX 400 video
    and 3D sound

    All this and you have LOCAL Support!!!!!!!
    And people that are usualy happy to help and knowledgable.

    FireWire card ($60)
    USB 2.0 ($30 card or free on the MotherBoard)

    i agree. my next computer will definitely be built from scratch. as soon as the new xp 2800+ is released at a reasonable price-
