I've been trying to encode Tank Girl with very little success. I keep running into serious a/v synch problems with it. I have tried just about everything I can think of to fix this. I encoded to mpeg1 and had problems and then tried to encode it as avi and still had problems. Smartripper and DVDx both say it's 24fps but DVD Decryptor says it's 30fps. That seems like what it is......a framerate problem. Is there such a thing as a movie that changes framerate? The synch issues only get worse as the movie plays which again leads me to believe it's a framerate problem. I'm just not sure how to fix this. I even tried to load the avi into v-dub and correct the skew but it doesn't stay constant throughout the movie. Gets up to about 1.5 seconds 2/3 of the way through it and is hardly noticeable at the beginning.
If anyone can help with this.....thanks in advance!!!!

Try using Tmpeg and DVD2AVI to make the SVCD. The all-in-one converting programs rarely work.
