  1. I have a movie that is more than 4.5g and I use tmpgenc to transcode it to get a smaller file.. method use ....rip using dvd decrypter ..got vob file used dvd2avi tool to demux audio to get d2v and ac3 file use tmpgenc to transcode video only and I get my m2v file..use spruceup to compile and the audio is out of sync..

from what I heard I don"t really need to touch the ac3 just the d2v to transcode the video..

any ideas as to why the audio is out of sync??

    any help will be appreciated

    thanks

  2. Look at the file name for the AC3 file. Was there a delay? That could cause it. I personally use CCE for re-encoding and I never have any audio sync problems. I also use Scenarist for authoring.

  3. Look for the program AC3 Delay Corrector. Load the DVD2AVI demuxed AC3 file into the program and it will set the correction automatically by reading the delay value from the filename. Press the Write button and wait for it to create your new AC3 file without delay.
