I have encoded several anime episodes recently, each NTSC DIVx 5 AVI files. Normally I set up TMPGEnc to use SSRC downsampler and to use TooLame for MP2 encoding. Note I am encoding to a standard compliant NTSC VCD (my DVD player does not support SVCD).
The main problem I have had is that I am getting a crash after the tooLame encoding, often just a number like "48 48" in a dialogue box. If I turn off tooLame all works ok.
For reference I am using a Pentuim III 800Mhx running Windows XP service pack 1 and the latest versions of all the software involved.
Anyone have any ideas what is happening? At this stage I have stopped using tooLame for audio encoding.

Me too gets crashes with tooLame.
The intermediate WAV which is generated by TMPG looks OK, but tooLame crashes. There is nothing special at the timecode of the crash.
