whats a good program to capture from a camcorder, thats easy to setup and reliable?

ScenalyzerLive. It lets you capture from 1394 and gets by the 4GB limit by creating new files every 4GB. Cost is worth it, approx. $33 USD. Go to http://www.scenalyzer.com for demo and literature.

If you work under Win2k, you can capture the size you want.
I've tried capturing 30 minutes in one single AVI and it works. I used Adobe Premiere.

i'd like to do that, ive got WinME by the way. Ive got a problem though, my comp always crashes during capture! i can usually get only about 4-5mins.
