Hi all,
I'm strongly looking for some kind of util which let me create menus and chapters for prepared already MPEG2 files (mostly SVCD-compliant). I've been trying some stuff but most of them is incompatible with custom VBR MPEGs (from Tmpgenc i.e.) and want them reconvert. TSCV is quite good but needs pre-prepared bitmaps, buttons, etc. what takes lot of time. Nero lets create only very simple menus and no chapters. Please suggest some stuff - I'm looking about two weeks already without real success. App should be fully compatible with SVCD format, allowing customizations and (best) - simple and fast menu creation.
Thanks all,
Chris

Try DVD MovieFactory (www.ulead.com) - they have a trial version for free so you can test it with your files. I have used it with variable bit rate SVCDs (VBR is valid for SVCD whereas it isn't for strict VCD).

In the two weeks you spent looking for an (non-existent) easy solution, you could have learnt how to use VCDImager +/- a GUI like VCDEasy or TSCV...
Very few programs will be able to automagically create a menu for you that doesn't look overly simplistic or stylistic. It is highly recommended that you create on yourself using an imaging program...

I agree with Kitty...
Ulead DVD Movie Factory is a low cost ($50), but a very nice program.
If you want a little more power, look at Ulead's DVD WorkShop... -
Normally for low cost & high flexability I recommend vcdimager + gui but this user wanted extreme ease of use. Paying for Moviefactory in this case may be preferable. I hold your program in the highest regard Michael.

My program? I just use it.
Your regards should go to hvr for VCDImager and delphi.stuff for VCDEasy.

And a little clarification - I know how to make menus with TSCV in example, but I would like to make menus in few minutes - not hours and make this stuff with a prog which let me quickly generate some buttons, texts, thimbnails etc.
Thanks,
Chris
