DVD2AVI

Tried to use the walkthru to DVD2AVI after using your excellent walkthru for DVDx.

Used smartripper to rip movie as with other prog
Opened DVD2AVI and opened vob1 and all rest selected
Pressed F5 to preview and could see movie playing and statistics looked ok.
Saved project and ran after 20mins AVI stopped and created two new files, sound file and d2v files as shown in walkthru
Opened tempeng and can load sound file but it will not regognise d2v file.

In your walkthru the top rip was 7.15 mine only took 20mins

A) Check to make sure you have this file under you main TMPG directory "DVD2AVI.vfp"...if not, that is your problem with not being able to load d2v files, copy it over from the main directory of DVD2AVI

B)Yours took longer for multiple reasons, speed can be affected by CPU, RAM, size of vob files, etc...off hand, sounds like you may created a wav file & d2v file...wav file always takes longer than the AC3 file.
