OK, I thought this should have been very simple.
I used premiere to capture dv and got an AVI file.
Now I am trying to use TMPEG to convert it to mpg file.
The problem is when I try to chose "source range" in TMPEG, I do not see the AVI. I mean it is blank, it just has a gray grid, but no actual video. I tried to convert it to mpeg anyways and the mpeg is also like that. Just the grid.
This was working a few weeks ago. I am not sure what happened. I was installing some other tools and I think that might have messed this up.
Can someone help?
Thanks.

Maybe try running the TMPGEncVFP_Install.bat again to restore the VFAPI dll?
I think balderic was correct in that there is a problem with the VFAPI Plugins somewhere...
