  1. Does anybody know why TMPGenc doesnīt seem to recognize the *vdr file type? It used to work,but all of a sudden,i canīt seem to get TMPGenc to load a *vdr file.I use *.ssa subtitle files and frameserve from Virtualdub with the original AVI.

  3. Yes the handler is installed,and VFAPI is installed for TMPGenc,but it continues to say Canīt open file or unsupported format,when i try to load the *.vdr file in TMPGenc

    See if your AVI readers can open your video. Raise each one to the highest priority, then try to frameserve.

  11. I am not sure i follow you.TMPGenc comes out every time with the error message "cannot open or unsupported" when i load the *.vdr file from virtualdub.How high should i raise the priority? And what should i raise priority for?

    You are raising the priority of the AVI file reader, giving them the chance to open your video rather than Direct Show. Raise each to four.

    You also need a .dll called msvcr70.dll in C:\Windows\system32. 8)

  15. Also,in TMPGenc under options,there is a "Flyleg" or spidery in the Register TMPGenc.vfp to VFAPI,should that be as it is?? Please help me,as i have had no problems before,it puzzles me.I have all codecs installed,and i have Windows XP Professional,but as i said i have had no trouble before..
