I have an anime in AVI format and wanted to convert it to VCD. The thing is the episode has a weird size, kinda like a screener but length is smaller. Well, I want to convert the entire episode without cutting the sides of the episodes off. I have tried using the guides and it gets cut off all the time.
Is it possible to keep it in the size and shape it is and convert it to VCD (NTSC format)? I won't mind the black top and bottom strips if there's a way to add that.
Thanks, and hopefully someone can help. The guide I used is the top one in the CONVERT section using TMPGnc (or whatever the file is called) AVI to VCD.

The settings you want to use in TMPG are:
In the "Advance Tab", set "Source Aspect Ratio" to "1:1 [VGA]" and "Video Arrange Method" to "Full Screen [Keep Aspect Ratio]" or "Full Screen [Keep Aspect Ratio 2]". That's the general setting for maintaining the aspect ratio with AVI files.
