  1. I have some video I captured before I thought about putting it on video CDs. I would like to do so now, but I captured the video in MPEG2 at 320x240 resolution. I chose MPEG2 for small file size, and 320x240 resolution cause that is all the bigger my computer (at the time) could capture.

Anyway, I need a larger resolution for NTSC compatibility (like 640x480?). At least this is what VCDEasy tells me when I try to load the file for SVCD creation.

Any suggestions on how I can make this conversion would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  2. MPEG2 at 320x240 is a valid res for NTSC TV, but if you want SVCD or VCD compliant discs you need MPEG1 at 352x240 for VCD and 480x480 for SVCD. You really should read guides and search the forums, this has been talked about and answered a million times.

  3. I have the files in 320x240 now - I do not have the original tape - just these MPEG2 files.

I'm looking for a suggestion how to covert to a new resolution, and 480x480 would be that resolution.
