For some reason people are having problems with DVD-R's I have burnt for them in their DVD-Roms. They play in the stand alone players fine but won't play in the computers.
They play fine in my Pioneer DVR-104 which burnt the disks.
Any ideas? I am not sure of the one DVD-Rom, but my Dad's is listed in system devices as a DSR-1600H.
I have tried WinDVD and PowerDVD and neither one works, they both start out and then the audio becomes garbled and then the frames start to freeze and then nothing.
PS I am using Vegas Video to capture edit and encode. I use ULead Movie Factory to burn the DVDs.
    PLEASE HELP!

    Thanks

  2. I use the same programs/hardware as you do and have not noticed any problems. Have you tried different DVD-R media? I use TDK, Imation, and DVDPro from Meritline....all seem to work fine. Also, it is not uncommon for early model DVD-Rom drives not recognize or not play DVD-R/RW disks. Maybe that's the problem.
