    Anyone know the advantage of the new firmware upgrade from 1.20 to 1.33 for the pioneer DVR-A04?

    I haven't found one compelling enough yet...

    Just don't buy any 4x DVD-R or 2X DVD-RW media and you should be OK until Pioneer (or the firmware gurus) can get something up to the quality of 1.20.
