My computer has decided it doesn't like DVD's any more, I'm using and IBM 2158-500 that has a Hitachi GD-2500 drive with Mediamatics 5.0, the drive was working fine for a while now it no longer recognizes DVD's, it has no problem with CD's software, music, etc.
I have noticed when I start up the Medimatics softeware the regional code section is greyed out with no region being checked and will not allow you to check a region. It also states that no dvd decoder is present.
