I live in the New York City area and was wondering if anyone knows where i could go to buy a PS2 mod chip and have it installed?
Someone told me to try China town, but im thinking that a place that sells one and installs it, will be hard to find.

I have checked out multiple sites on how to install the no swap Magic 2 chip and the Messiah, but they look difficult to install myself.
I don't really want to take the risk of ruining my PS2, so i figured finding someone to install it for me, would be the best solution.

Anyone have any ideas or spots i could go?

Well, i found 2 reliable web sites where you can send your PS2 in so they can mod it for you.
    1.PSX-Tech.com
    2.Modchipplus.com

    I think they're both in California. If i lived closer i would send it...But i don't.
I did find a place today in Chinatown called J&L Game Trading. I called them to check out info and prices etc. I knew right off the bat when i called that they knew what they were talking about. The guy asked me what model PS2 i have, and recommended which chip is good for mine.
They are however a little bit expensive. For the newest no swap chip, Magic 2, it is a total of $195. That is for the chip and the installation. He told me that it's an hour service.

So i think this is where im gonna go. Atleast they're in my area and i can go back if anything goes wrong. Plus, the price isn't rediculous, considering how much money you can save in the long run.
